Online Lessons Safeguarding Policy:

  • Video calling is to be used for music lessons only and not for other contact e.g. sharing photos or general messaging.

  • Parents should set up a profile on behalf of their children and make sure that the profile is restricted so that students can only receive calls from known contacts.

  • Students should not wear excessively informal clothing and should not present against a messy background.

  • The teacher may terminate the call if any of the above guidelines are not followed.

More info is available on the Musicians Union website at this link.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Lessons cancelled by the Student or Parent with at least a week’s notice will have no cancellation fee charge.

  • Lessons cancelled by the Student or Parent with less than a week’s notice will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Lessons cancelled by the Student or Parent with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a 100% late cancellation fee.

In the event of a late cancellation, I will do my best to help you reschedule the lesson and will take mitigating circumstances into consideration.
